Nike Introduces a Men's Version of the Air Huarache Ultra

Well what do we have here? Just a couple of weeks ago we were saying that Nike should make the Air Huarache Ultra for men and, lo and behold, the Swoosh had one prepped all along. Differing a bit from the ladies' version, the men's take on the Air Huarache Ultra still opts for a combination of mesh and perforated foam across its upper, but employs supportive overlays that render it much closer, aesthetically, to the Tinker Hatfield-designed original. Like its female-centric predecessor, the new design also employs a cored-out forefoot for a midsole-outsole combo that offers added flexibility -- rubber outsole pods only appear at the heel and toe.

Black and "Scream Green" colorways of the Air Huarache Ultra are available now via nike.com while the "Cool Grey" and "Hyper Violet" make-ups are sure to follow. Retail is set at $120 USD per pair.
