Officially starting on February 19th, these Chinese New Year inspired kicks aren’t afraid to get cultural, as each element that is added to the design holds a purpsose and works immaculate detailing.

The upper of the adidas T-Mac 3 silhouette is laid out in Black snakeskin and the medial sides feature a perforated construction. The Red that touches on the quarter panel and heel is roped in by silk-looking laces that feature a pretty dope design. These kicks come boxed up in a special mahogany-looking box for an added touch of speciality that starts you off on the right foot going into the new year. There’s no word as to when these will be landing stateside, but check back with us soon for any updates.

To kick-off the New Year, adidas reveals its upcoming offerings for 2015 with the “Broadway Express” Collection. Featuring special variations of the D Rose 5 Boost, Crazy 8 and Crazy 2, the shoes pay homage to the New York City MTA transit system, primarily the Metallic Silver Q train with its Broadway Express route and signature Black and Yellow tones, hence its official title.

A signature silhouette of Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose, the D Rose 5 Boost incorporates a predominantly Silver mesh upper with a matching mud guard, while striking Yellow accents on its outsole, laces and tongue logo capture the essence of its inspirational theme.

Additionally, the classic Crazy 8 sports a similar colorway through a Metallic silver upper, reinforced with Black piping and tongue, as Yellow hits are applied on the outsole and logos. Finally, the Crazy 2 is dipped in synthetic Metallic Silver and Black for its mesh upper, while bright Yellow accentuates its entirety, primarily located on the laces, three stripes and adidas logo.

All in all a shimmering lineup of footwear, look for the adidas “Broadway Express” collection at adidas retailers starting January 8 2015, with suggested retailing prices at $140 (D Rose 5 Boost) , $110 (Crazy 8) and $125 (Crazy 2) respectively.

Don’t Sleep on the HVW8 x Jean Andre x adidas Skateboarding Seeley

HVW8 art gallery in Los Angeles and adidas Skateboarding have really delivered this time around on the adidas Skateboarding Seeley silhouette. This design couldn’t have been completed without the help of artist Jean Andre, however.

This time around, the sneaker is constructed of premium leather material and works a split design between Black and White. The adidas Stakeboarding Seeley is set in White, but with Jean Andre’s artistic taste, we can see that the bottom half of the sneaker was dipped in Black. The heel is seen sporting the HVW8 license plate along with the adidas Trefoil to wrap up the design. These released earlier in November via an event with HVW8, but now these bad boys have made their way over to other retailers including Sneaker Politics.
