This time showcasing the adidas Consortium Primeknit Stan Smith, which is rendered under the German-sportswear’s Consortium sub-branch – renowned for footwear designed by brands such as UNDFTD, Sneaker Freaker and CLOT that utilize unique materials and style – this particular revision is comprised of Primeknit technology.

Maintaining its simplistic aesthetic, the low-top model inherits a woven knit upper in a pristine White thread-like material, while resting atop an Off-White colored rubber sole unit as nice a subtle touch. While noted for his minimalist sensibilities, Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons utilizes vibrant patterns of floral as the silhouette’s main theme. Draped in a woven textile/synthetic upper in Black that features a checkered floral print in White, a distinctive wraparound Heather Grey piping divides the makeup, as the checkered floral print continues along its mudguard, but shaded in Red and White.

adidas Unveils "Made in March" Collection for the Upcoming NCAA Tournament

March Madness is just around the corner, and in the spirit of college basketball's most important time of year, adidas has just revealed its Made in March uniform and footwear collection. Designed with advanced apparel and footwear technology, the uniform system will be worn by eight teams during the 2015 NCAA postseason. The shorts feature an extended waistband, an enlarged team logo and an asymmetrical leg trim which pays homage to the teams’ retro uniform styles. In terms of footwear, the collection including new colorways of the D Lillard 1, J Wall 1 and D Rose 5 Boost signature shoes from NBA All-Stars Damian Lillard, John Wall and Derrick Rose. Keep en eye out for teams from NC State University, Texas A&M, University of Kansas, University of Louisville, University of Michigan, University of Nebraska, University of Wisconsin, and UCLA to be rocking these special kits during the postseason. Counterfeit Sneakers worth $1 Million USD Seized and Destroyed in Philippines

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) in the Philippines has just taken an aggressive stance against the counterfeit sneaker game in its country by destroying more than 150,000 pairs of fake kicks. The batch included imitations of brands such as Nike, adidas, and Converse, and was valued at PH50M, or $1 million USD. According to Customs Commissioner John P. Sevilla, the goods were smuggled in from China early last year, and were discovered as being fraudulent when the owner failed to produce proof of payment of duties and taxes. While the Philippines has become known for its counterfeit goods market, Sevilla promised that the BOC would continue to fight to protect the manufacturers and distributors of genuine brands, and urged the public not to buy counterfeit.
