Pharrell Williams Surprises Highschool Artists at the adidas Superstar Experience

This past weekend, the Superstar Experience at 138 Wooster Street in Soho, NYC was treated with a special event, as Grammy-Award winning artist, Pharrell Williams visited the establishment to celebrate the launch of his newest collaboration with adidas Originals, in addition to surprising 50 high school artists.


The students were selected from three different NYC schools, particularly High School of Fashion Industries, Harlem School of the Arts, and The Avenues – all which were assessed on their passion for art, design and fashion. Each were invited to customize their own pair of All-White Superstar 80s, which would eventually be part of a special art installation showcased in the space.


Furthermore, while instilling these young designers with inspiration and creativity, Pharrell introduced his protégé, Raury, who talked about following your dreams and staying dedicated to what inspires you. Enjoy a recap of the event in the gallery above and video below.
