Good news for fans. Bad news for resellers.
With the adidas Yeezy Boost obviously the most sought after sneaker this year, limited availability at the moment is the only cause for concern. While many anxiously await their chance to purchase a pair – the next being this Saturday, February 28th – Kanye West has repeatedly expressed that the adidas Yeezy Boost will eventually be available for everyone and blames adidas‘ intentions to limit the inventory for now.
As basic economics 101 are currently in play; low quantities equates to higher pricing due to high demand – an equilibrium will be set sometime later this year. This matter was further dissected by one of Kanye’s closest associates, Ibn Jasper.
Jasper says:
“There will be multiple releases. Why does everyone think the shoe will only come out once? I see that you have selective hearing. The shoe drops next week AGAIN on FEB 28 GLOBALLY at adidas stores and at stores with adidas Consortium accounts. Then when those sell out, adidas will make a new batch and release those so EVERYONE will be able to EVENTUALLY get them at retail price.. Your impatience is not his problem.”
Retailing for $350, the adidas Yeezy Boost will be available at adidas Consortium accounts worldwide, as well as adidas Originals flagships in Berlin, Seoul, London and Shanghai starting Saturday, February 28.
