While we’ve already documented the adidas Originals Superstar “XENO,” a closer look at the silhouette’s compositional makeup is provided to further entice those of you who may be on the fence on purchasing a pair.
Just to recap, the updated construction of this particular Superstar is inspired by the non-venomous Xenopeltis snake found in Southeast Asia, recognized for its iridescent scales. Created to mimic the function, the upper is composed of a tonal Black snakeskin material. Doused with a special coating, the sneaker’s base completely transforms into a vivid rainbow spectrum when exposed to light.
