Kanye West certainly had an eventful week in NYC, first with the unveiling of Yeezy Season One with adidas Originals, kicking off NBA-All Star Weekend with a concert sponsored by Jay Z’s ROC Nation, personally handing off his long awaited Yeezy Boost to customers, performing on SNL’s 40th anniversary event amongst others – it’s certainly no question that the adidas Originals Yeezy 750 Boost is the must-have pair of sneakers for 2015.
With all the hype and positivity surrounding Kanye’s latest offerings, Mr. West did something special while hanging out with a few friends this past weekend, particularly comedian and actor, Dave Chapelle. As described by his wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye West happily gifted Dave Chapelle with the Yeezy Boost right off his own feet. Whether that adds more value to the sneakers itself since its previous owner is Kanye West, it seems that his expression of what seems to be “Why Not” justifies his joyous state of mind.
Fans of the sneakers won’t have to wait too long. The adidas Originals Yeezy 750 Boost is set for a global release at adidas locations on Saturday, February 28th for $350.
