adidas is showing some love to the female athlete by creating the brand new adidas PureBOOST X. This new Boost model is not derived from an existing men’s model, it was crafted and created specifically for women with the intention of satisfying a women’s demand for their active lifestyle.
The PureBOOST X is a prefect blend of performance and style. It will come constructed out of a stretchy mesh upper paired up with a floating arch detail that wraps underneath the foot. These two features help deliver support under all circumstances. Below you will find a BOOST equipped midsole to ensure one of the most comfortable energy-returning cushioning systems on the market. Lastly, the the shoe will enable you to have natural foot movements thanks in part to a Stretch Web outsole. Three pairs of the brand new silhouette are set to make their debut on February 1st for $120 followed by two different iterations designed by Stella McCartney on February 15th for $170. Author’s Take
It’s good to see adidas show the women some love with the brand new model. As far as the aesthetics of the shoe goes, it looks clean as a shoe to run/work out in, but I’m still unsure as to how it would look as a casual sneaker.
