Adidas has just introduced two new pairs of football cleats symbolizing blazing speed and engineered for the fastest players on turf.
Here we take a look at the the Uncaged Demon adizero 5-Star Cleat Collection that consist of the adidas adiZero 5-Star 5.0 and the adidas adiZero 5-Star 40. Both cleats are lightweight, aerodynamic and are decorated with photo-realistic, high-definition, 3-D fire graphics.
The adiZero 5-Star 40 was created specifically for the 40-yard dash and weighs in at only 4.9 ounces making it the lightest cleat in the game. This cleat is constructed of a SPRINTSKIN Ultra upper that has been engineered to provide reinforcement only in key support zones for elite performance. The upper then sits atop a SPRINTFRAME football plate in order to provide players with acceleration for the 40-yard dash. Pricing for the the adiZero 5-Star 40 is $150.
Next we have the adidas adiZero 5-Star 5.0. This pair of cleats weighs in at just 7.9 ounces and features a durable, flexible a SPRINTSKIN upper with SHOCKWEB reinforcement. The entire upper then rests atops the 5-STAR FRAME that blends comfort, strength and traction. Retail price for this pair sits at $120.
Both of the 2016 Uncaged Demon cleats will be available at select adidas retailers as well as adidas.com on February 1st.

Gone are the days when we used to see plain boring cleats. Now the new norm is graphic cleats that turn heads left and right. Even though I’d probably never wear a pair I think they look pretty dope.
