The adidas Originals Superstar is a timeless classic that will never go out of style, but that doesn’t mean it can’t undergo some changes to give it a more modernized look. This latest rendition of the iconic sneaker is dubbed the adidas Originals Superstar Animal, and it’s fairly easy to see why.
From afar, the Superstar appears to be normal as can be, it’s only when you take a closer look at the shoe that you realize that the white upper is given a faux snake-skin texture that gives it a subtle yet creative and modernized look. The white leather upper is then contrasted by the hits of black placed on the Three Stripes branding on the side panels, the tongue tag and the heel tab of the shoe. A white shell toe and sole unit wrap up the tonal look of the shoe. Although these have yet to arrive stateside, you can now get your very own pair at select international retailers.

Author’s Take
I know it’s meant to look like faux snake-skin, but to me it kind of looks like a nice tumbled leather, which I’m always down for in sneakers. Very dope version of the Superstar, no doubt about that.
