This past weekend we witnessed the release of the Air Jordan 5 Low Chinese New Year which was the first Air Jordan 5 Low release in quite some time. If you thought Jordan Brand was done with the 5 Lows then your’e sadly mistaken.
The Jumpman actually has a handful of Air Jordan 5 Lows planned for 2016 with the next one being this Alternate 90 colorway. Similar to the Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89 that released at the beginning of the year, this Air Jordan 5 imagines what Michael Jordan’s sneaker would have looked like had he worn PE colorways back in the day. As you can tell by looking at the shoe it is inspired by the Chicago Bulls and features a Black nubuck upper with Gym Red accents and a Metallic Silver 3M tongue.

I’ve already expressed that I dislike the Air Jordan 5 Low silhouette. This colorway actually looks a lot like the Supreme collaboration pair that released last year just without the Supreme branding. Super easy pass for me.
