In addition to the adidas Skateboarding x DGK Collection that we showed you earlier today that featured the new Locator Mid and Locator Low silhouettes, there will also be accompanying apparel as well as a pair of Superstars.
The most popular sneaker out of this collection will undoubtedly be this black and gold Superstar that is composed of a black nubuck upper with rubber detailing on the toe. Serving as the perfect contrast and complement are the hits of gold that land on the Three Stripes branding on the side panels, and the DGK x adidas branding on the tongue and by the ankle. Releasing alongside the Superstar will be a Climalite DGK Jersey, Climalite DGK Pullover Hoodie and DGK Swishy Pant.
The adidas Skateboarding x DGK collection will be available only through specialty retailers in the U.S. and at http://ift.tt/1h6zUAP starting February 1.
Author’s Take
Now that I take a look at the Superstar silhouette it’s easily my favorite sneakers in the entire collection. It’s hard not to like a black and gold shoe, especially one as classic as the Superstar.
