Are you the type that likes to rock some Nike, Jordan or even adidas sandals while your loungin’ around the house? If you like sneakers then odds are that you also have at least one pair of slides that you rock daily.
There is now a new brand of slides that was founded by sneaker connoisseur Fran Marchello (also known as @franalations). The sandal company that goes by the name of Sandalboyz, founded out of Los Angeles, just launched nationally on January 23rd. In one of the images above you can see the muted olive colorway of the sandal as modeled by Ian Connor (@ianconnorsrevenge). In addition to the olive pair there is also a rose colorway with that features tonal detailing. The sandals retail for $55.
Author’s Take
The sandal looks kind of plain to me but sometimes less is more. The minimal branding and designs on the leather strap give a sophisticated look to the slide that differentiates it from say a Nike or Jordan sandal. Personally I can’t see myself paying $55 for a slide/sandal, but I like the look.
