Appropriately, color has always been a hallmark of Junichi Abe's designs -- just look at his collaborations with adidas (and last year's Abe-designed Ultra Boosts in particular) for proof. But it's not always done the way you may think. Instead of offering up a bold, in-your-face color palette, kolor collections are instead often highlighted by just a few seasonal hues employed in a variety of ways. Fall/Winter 2016 is no different. Unveiled today at Paris Fashion Week, Abe's latest pieces offer an apt followup to this spring's range while building on the looks of Fall/Winter 2015. Here grey, burgundy, black, and brown star as texture and pattern decorate everything from woolen sweaters and trim blazers to baggy trousers and patent leather-accented coats. Everything from plaids and checks to stripes and metallics make an appearance while animal patterns show up for good measure.
