NBA All Star Weekend is less than three weeks away and one of the most exciting things about the weekend (other than All Star Saturday night and the actual game on Sunday) is all of the sneaker releases. This year we already know that we’ll be seeing the Air Jordan XXX, the All Star Nike Foamposite as well as the Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement.
However the collection that we always come to expect is the Nike Basketball All Star Pack. So far we know that LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant will all be playing in this year’s All Star Game. Due to Kyrie Irving’s injury it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be playing in this year’s game, but will Nike still be making him an All Star Kyrie 2? We’ll find out soon enough. Today we get our first glimpse at LeBron’s 2016 NBA All Star sneaker with this green colorway of the Nike LeBron 13. In addition to the green upper we also see black accents on the tongue, inner liner, back half of the midsole, laces and branding. Lots of speckling can also be seen on the shoe especially on the posite paneling and the midsole. It’s still unclear what the inspiration is behind this LeBron 13 but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more.
In the meantime take a look at the first images above and let us know if you like what you see. The release date is currently set for February 11th with retail price being $220.

Author’s Take
The combination of green/olive and black is one that I usually like so the LeBron 13 caught my attention. I wonder what the inspiration behind this colorway is though. Right now I’m leaning towards making this a pass for me.
