After alluding to the release back in February, here we find the first drop from adidas' Ultra BOOST Collective initiative, delivered in conjunct with longtime collaborator Stella McCartney. The brand's flagship high-end runner has been completely revamped by the English fashion designer, with the upper outfitted with a luxurious Primeknit base layer, tastefully woven with white thread at the toe and heel to create a 'hazard stripe' effect. Over this, the shoe features a synthetic and mesh footcage, touched with a subtly feminine smoked pink paneling at the sides. All this rests atop adidas' hallmark BOOST midsole, embedded with responsive capsules to maximize energy return, as well as a specially-designed Stretch Web outsole that adapts to the movements of each wearer's foot. Priced at $295 USD, ladies can pick up this iteration of the Ultra BOOST in London beginning April 25, then at worldwide adidas retailers on May 8 onwards.
