Where has the adidas Rod Laver been? Not on shelves, we know that much for sure. Now, trying to revamp the model, we see the sneaker under the sophisticated detailing of python print. Looking like it has a little more to offer, the Adidas Originals Rod Laver lands with two different colorways.
Neither look makes a reference to the brand with the three stripes. Instead, the non-branded adidas Originals Rod Laver favors a python leather upper in either a White or Black base. Cream laces accompany the White iteration and a cream outsole follows along with the Black rendition. I understand not wanting to load us up on too many tennis related kicks, but we need more like this.
Coming from Negative Nancy herself who always rags on monochromatic look… These are dope, down to the last python scale.
