The adidas Originals ZX 8000 Boost is one of adidas latest lifestyle runners. Already out in a couple of colorways, one colorway we had yet to see was the traditional all black. That is, until today.

The adidas Originals ZX 8000 Boost is made up a a few different materials. It comes in a fabric upper, and functional heel brace along with the adidas Three stripes found  on the sides. Offsetting the all black look is the white eyestay along with the white boost midsole. You might be thinking to yourself that the sole doesn’t look like your typical ‘boost’ sole. That’s because the boost component is actually part of the insole and it’s actually removable. By doing this, adidas is able to change the aesthetics of the shoes with ‘boost’ technology while still keeping the technology and use of the ‘boost’ in place. Available now at select retailers for the retail price of $130, are you feeling this version of the adidas originals ZX8000 Boost?

The original adidas Pure Boost is one of, if not, the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. The only thing I would change about the shoe, is to somehow disguise the midsole, because let’s keep it real, it’s not the sexiest midsole out on the market right now. When I heard that adidas managed to hide the boost sole but still keep its function, I was definitely pleased about that. The adidas Originals ZX 8000 Boost is one of the first models to implement this feature on the soles, and I mush say, the silhouette looks amazing, and to top it all off, I’m sure it will feel as good as it looks.  I can’t wait to try on a pair. Nice work adidas!
