It’s been a minute since we’ve seen either the Nike Zoom Kobe 7 or Paul George. While George actually did return for the final games of the 2014-15 NBA season, it felt like more of a moral victory for the All-Star and his fans than an event that should have struck fear in the hearts of other Eastern Conference teams. But now George is on the comeback trail proper with a full training camp and new teammates to get acquainted with (#MONTABALL) and he’s bringing an old friend with him in the form of the Kobe 7.
When George was still a rising star for the Pacers a few years back, he rocked NIKEiD versions of the Kobe 7, including a familiar gradient pair that he wore last night against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans.
As for the rest of the night in kicks, we’ve got Elfrid Payton going with some of Kobe’s more recent kicks, Davis having the audacity to wear the Nike Air Max Audacity (sorry) and a whole lot of Jordan Super.Fly 4s from the Charlotte Hornets (called it).
