They say that you can’t escape the past. For Derrick Rose, his name will forever be associated with lost time, lost potential and lost dreams. Injuries that were far beyond his control took away prime years of his playing career and we’ve been left to wonder whether or not we will ever see the same old D-Rose again.
From the looks of the marketing of the shoe, adidas and Rose seem determined to not let the past define them because their marketing slogan for the adidas D Rose 6 is “Never Break”. It’s a curious wording for sure and one that will (and has) invited a lot of criticism, but if Rose and his signature shoe line is ever going to prove that they are not broken, it has to be on the court and nowhere else. Maybe the slogan should have been “Moving” instead. It’s time Rose the player caught up to Rose the shoe line because the Rose 6 is pretty good and has all the Boost you need.
