The Raf Simons x adidas partnership continues to progress and impress throughout the seasons. From standout iterations of the Ozweego 2 and Stan Smith, the Belgian fashion designer presents another rendition of an adidas silhouette, this time changing the Response Trail into the Response Trail Robot.
As its last title suggests, the model is inspired from NASA’s astronaut suits. Crafted out of premium metallic calf leather with lightweight, breathable mesh panels throughout, the sneakers are adhered against a durable adiprene+ midsole unit. Finishing touches include a unique lace-up closure and subtle Raf Simons by adidas branding throughout.

Author’s Take
I’m a fan of Raf Simons and his work, especially his footwear with adidas. I like how technical the model looks and its “Robot” moniker is definitely well executed. The only negative of course is its pricing, but that’s what you get with a designer label.
