The short amount of time that the adidas Tubular X Primeknit has existed, all of its releases have come in a tonal upper. This latest version opts to change things up a bit by coming in a two toned look. First impressions are lasting, and it appears that this one is a definite winner.
The adidas Tubular X Primeknit will be constructed out of a soft grey Primeknit upper that takes care of the majority of the shoe. Nicely contrasting the base of the shoe is the black synthetic leather found on the overlay of the shoe. Not only does the black synthetic overlay provide a new look we’re not used to seeing on the model, it also gives the shoe a supportive lockdown fit. Completing the look of the shoe is the two-toned midsole coming in grey and white. Set to drop sometime in the Fall, let us know what you think about this new version of the adidas Tubular X Primeknit.

Author’s Take
I personally prefer the two-toned look on the upper. The combination of synthetic leather and Primeknit is a good look on the shoe. I’ve steered away from the Tubular model for the simple fact that it was too subtle looking with its tonal uppers. Now that it comes in a two-toned a may have to reconsider and get a pair.
