After collaborating with Hypebeast to release an uncaged version of the popular adidas Ultra Boost as well as a golf-inspired pair with SNS, adidas will now be releasing another collaborative Ultra Boost.
This time the German sports brand links up with Denmark-based Wood Wood to release two colorways of the Ultra Boost, one for men and one for women. Inspired by Wood Wood’s research into astrophysics, the men’s pair comes with a black and white Primeknit upper with black taking center stage and minimal hits of white landing on the BOOST midsole, tongue and heel counter. The women’s pair uses a heavy dose of white on the upper with black accents and removes the “cage” around the laces as well as the laces and replaces them with a midfoot strap.
Releasing on Feb. 20, 2016 exclusively at Wood Wood with a worldwide release date scheduled for Feb. 27 at adidas Consortium retailers, what’s your take on the Wood Wood x adidas Ultra Boost collection?

The men’s pair looks similar to past colorways that we’ve already seen in the past, but the women’s pair definitely has a unique look thanks to the strap across the midfoot. I wouldn’t pick up either colorway though.
