Kanye West recently took to his twitter to give us a first look at his brand new silhouette dubbed the adidas Yeezy 1050. Before you go on and say that this brand new adidas Yeezy 1050 is essentially the adidas Yeezy 950, hold on a bit and let me try to differentiate the two.
The pictures above are of the Yeezy 1050. At first glace it does look like the 950 Duck Boot, but believe it or not there are differences between the two. The Yeezy 1050 is considered to be an advanced/upgraded version of the Yeezy 950. The performance upgrades include features such as the waterproof Gore-Tex construction, as while as giving you the option of picking up different colorway that offer more contrast. No word yet on the release date or price, but if this is considered to be an upgraded version of the 950, don’t be surprised if adidas decided to price these higher than th $625 price point that came with the 950 Duck Boot. In my opinion, 350>750>950>1050. That’s just how I see it. I know these aren’t made for everybody, but what the hell am I going to do with a Duck Boot with waterproof Gore-Tex construction?
