James Harden just signed with adidas in late 2015 and while he doesn’t have his own signature sneaker with the Three Stripes just YET, he does have his own shoe that he’ll be wearing during All Star Weekend in Toronto.

This James Harden edition of the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 follows the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis theme that all of the adidas Basketball sneakers have been using as the upper has been colored in blue, purple, and green. The best part of this sneaker however has to be the XENO detailing that has been added towards the back half of the shoe as we can see light-changing qualities that appear when the shoe is hit by the light. The tongue has been hit with James Harden’s logo that looks like an H and also his number 13.

Is this the best All Star basketball sneaker of 2016? Let us know your thoughts and pick up your adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 All Star when it releases on February 12th.

Author’s Take

I’m usually the type that leans toward Nike’s All Star kicks, but this Crazylight Boost 2.5 was executed beautifully. The XENO detailing gives it that perfect pop and makes it worthy to be an All Star shoe. Great job adidas.
