It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had to go into full-on “let’s talk about Kanye and everything he does because pageviews” mode, but we’re getting close again thanks to the upcoming Yeezy Season 3 presentation at MSG and the possibility of an adidas Yeezy Boost 350 dropping in a few weeks.
So what’s the deal at the moment? According to @YeezyTalkWorldwide, an adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is set to release on February 19.

The tweet doesn’t go into details, but then other fellow sneaker blogs began reporting with confirmation from sources at adidas that it is a restock of the Pirate Black colorway and that there will be an increase in stock, hopefully living up to the promise that Kanye made when he said that anybody that wants a pair of Yeezys will be able to get one.
However, YeezyTalk fired back with several tweets claiming that it’s actually a new colorway of the Yeezy Boost that’s dropping on the 19th and that it be black with either blue or green detailing.
The Pirate Black 350 which released last year is not being released again or restocking.. it will be a different colour-way..

To confirm these will be releasing at Y3 Accounts (Same as Moonrocks), so obviously more pairs than Turtle Doves, Pirate Blacks and Tans..

So at this stage of the game, we’re pretty certain that there will be Yeezys coming soon. The only question is what colorway it will be and what the supply numbers will be.
Author’s Take
My guess is that people don’t give a s**t what colorway the shoe will be because everyone just wants a piece of that Kanye magic (or hype or whatever you want to call it). As an owner of a pair of Yeezy Boost 350s, I can say that if you can get a pair at retail, go ahead and buy it because they are comfy like any Boost shoe, but don’t pay resale prices because if adidas and Kanye really are about to increase production, then just wait it out until they become ubiquitous like Jordans. It’ll happen, just wait.
