Last year during All Star Weekend adidas debuted their new XENO technology by placing it on the ZX Flux, Superstar and Metro Attitude. One year later they’re back at it again with a new XENO colorway that actually glows in the dark.
XENO technology is inspired by the Xenopeltis snake that’s found in Southeast Asia and is recognized for its highly iridescent scales. This new XENO Borealis collection offers various colorways of the ZX Flux that illuminates in the dark into a vibrant green colorway through its unique glow-in-the-dark technology. So aside from changing colors in the light, it also glows in the dark when the light is removed.
The adidas Originals ZX Flux XENO Borealis Pack will be releasing on February 13th at select adidas retailers in men’s and women’s colorways for $130 and $100 for juniors. Will you be going after a pair?

Author’s Take
Every sneaker that released with XENO technology last year was a hit for adidas and I expect the same with this new ZX Flux pack. The fact that they also glow-in-the-dark should be something else that attracts people attention. I’ll personally pass since I’m not too big on colorful sneakers.
