This Barneys New York x Diadora is the latest installment from the luxury retailer’s “Sole Series” for this season.
Following collaborations with Vans and adidas, the pack utilizes the footwear label’s Trident 90 NYL and reinterprets in two variations. With an emphasis on extravagance, the silhouettes are comprised of a mixture of leathers. Matte leather and smooth leather are styled at the toe box and quarter panels with perforations, while overlays of metallic specchio leather adorn the signature formstripe, heel and tongue tab.
Rounded out with a Black/White sole unit, Black laces and more branding on the heel tab, the models are offered in colorways of Black/Metallic Gold and Black/Metallic Bronze-Blue. You can find the sneakers at Barneys now for $315 each.

Author’s Take
I’m a fan of the silhouette and this latest execution is really appealing. I just like the addition of gold and copper, plus the build is pretty premium. I understand the price tag, but I’ll wait to see if it’ll drop.
