Black Friday brought us the new all-black colorway of the adidas Originals ZX Flux XENO that I’m sure was a hit among ZX Flux and XENO fanatics.
adidas continues the trend today as they have just unveiled their latest addition the the constantly growing XENO collection. Here we take a look at the adidas Originals XENO Negative ZX Flux. This new ZX Flux recycles leftover XENO materials to create a sustainable colorway – a commitment from the brand in furthering meaningful design innovation in sustainability. This XENO ZX Flux features a reversed snakeskin upper and a white midsole. Just like all of the other previous releases when the upper is hit with the flash of a camera it changes colors with this specific pair having the XENO Negative materials showing off its bright color range. The effect is similar to what happens in photography with negatives after film development.
The adidas Originals ZX Flux XENO Negative will be available beginning on December 11th at select adidas retailers and adidas.com for $120.
Author’s Take
We finally see a colorful XENO ZX Flux. All of the previous pairs were either black or grey and featured color when hit by the light but this pair is twice as colorful thanks to the new XENO Negative material.
