adidas has taken one of their most classic silhouettes in their arsenal and given it a Winter makeover to allow you to wear it all year long.

Today we take our first look at the adidas Originals Pro Model GTX which is essentially a sneakerboot version of the adidas Pro Model. This new silhouette from the Three Stripes features an outdoor-geared tooling and metal lug lacing system for high performance. The shoe is then finished with essential Gore-Tex lining to offer waterproof and breathable comfort, providing a stylish winter shoe that doesn’t sacrifice any substance. The shoe will be offered in three different colorways of white, black and turquoise and is set to launch globally on November 28th.

For the fans of the Originals Pro Model, how do you feel about the Winter twist on this sneaker?

Author’s Take

This Pro Model GTX actually doesn’t look that bad. I’m not really a fan of the original Pro Model but this new Winterized version has a stylish snowboot look to it. I wouldn’t buy a pair since I never really go to the snow, but if I did I would consider it.
