The adidas Originals Micro Pacer originally made its debut way back in 1984! The adidas Originals Micro Pacer was a shoe that as considered to be way ahead of its time, just take a look at it, it came with a built in computer chip to help you keep track of your running pace for crying out loud. Unfortunately, the adidas Originals Micro Pacer didn’t do so well back in 1984. Last year it celebrated its 30th anniversary by coming out with several collaborations as well as OG inspirations. Now, we’re getting a look at the adidas Originals Micro Pacer once more this time donning a more modern look that has it come in a mesh upper.
The adidas Originals Micro Pacer will come in a mesh upper paired up with a forrest green hue to make it an ideal option for the current season that we’re in. The built in computer chip also appears to be intact as it can be easily seen on the forefoot of the left shoe. You will find adidas branding on the tongue and hell, while Micro Pacer branding in gold is found next to the black leather Three Stripes on the side panels. Said to have already dropped internationally, we will let you know once these arrive stateside.

Author’s Take
I wasn’t even born when these came out, but I can easily see why they were considered to be ahead of its time. The built in microchip is different and really helps to separate the shoe from the rest of the pack. I’m diggin’ this modern version of the adidas Originals Micro Pacer. I may end up picking up a pair if the price is right.
