The adidas Superstar is being celebrated by adidas Skateboarding. The Superstar is about to get a makeover that will have it utilizing enhanced modern skate technology to make it suitable to skate in. Let’s take a look at the brand new adidas Superstar ADV.
From the outside you really won’t be able to tell the difference when it comes to the changes it went through, but it’s only when you take a look inside of the Superstar ADV that you will appreciate the changes. The changes begin with a big change in the weight and bulk of the leather used in the upper, making it much more light and in return more suitable to skate in. adidas also smoothed out the Three Stripes on the side panels for a much more sleeker overall look. Inside the shoe you will find a combined sockliner and midsole into one ADIPRENE® drop-in piece the help with impact protection on the heel and also help make it feel like a true board feel in the toe. The rubber shelltoe is still in place protecting you and providing abrasion resistance. Lastly, the Vector Traction outsole provides a firm grip whenever you’re riding on your board. The Superstar ADV will be available beginning today in an assortment of colors, while additional colorways are set to release on November 1st.

Author’s Takes
I think it’s really dope that adidas has managed to take one of their most classic and iconic silhouettes and transform it into a sneaker that you can skateboard in. Excellent job!
