The adidas Ultra Boost Will Come With Gradient Uppers Next Year

adidas Ultra Boost 1 adidas Ultra Boost 2

It looks like the adidas Ultra Boost is about to undergo some minor change to bring the new year. We already mentioned that it will come equipped with a more durable outsole, but it looks like the adidas Ultra Boost will also undergo some changes on the upper part of the shoe.

This version of the Ultra Boost comes in a black and grey Primeknit upper, what makes this different from other uppers that we’ve seen is that the colorway appears to come in a patterned gradient shift on the toe are of the shoe, creating a look on the Ultra Boost that may take some time to get used to. Expect the uppers of the Ultra Boost to receive much more attention to detail during 2016. Are you feeling this look, or are you a fan of the tonal look?

 Author’s Take

My initial thought is that I don’t like it as much as the original non-patterned upper. But it’s a good move on adidas, you can’t just release solid colored upper forever, right?
