The Hundreds, adidas and The NBA Create a Perfect Collection For Lakers and Nets Fans

Streetwear brand The Hundreds is linking up not only with adidas, but also the National Basketball Association for their latest project.

The Hundreds will be focusing on two teams that belong to two of the country’s biggest and most renowned cities – Los Angeles and Brooklyn. Using the adidas Skateboarding Adi-ease ADV silhouette, the collection includes two pairs of sneakers as well as an apparel collection. The “Lakers” pair of Adi-ease ADVs features a charcoal upper and purple/yellow confetti gum sole, emulating the confetti that rained down on the champions in 1980. Then we have the “Brooklyn” pair which features a black upper with a sold white stripe on the heel. Both colorways come with enhanced materials, perforated toe boxes, and tongue/heel loops.

“This is a dream collaboration for me. I have been a fan of both teams and, especially Magic Johnson, since I was a little kid.”

The limited edition capsule is available exclusively in all The Hundreds retail locations and at TheHundreds.com beginning October 1 and through specialty adidas retailers in the U.S. starting October 16.

Author’s Take

The Lakers and Nets are two of the teams that I dislike the most in the NBA (I’m a Raptors fan so you probably know why). But if I were a fan of either team I would definitely pick up the kicks and some of the clothes.
