Ever since people got a first look at the adidas Originals Tubular X there was immediate comparisons to the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost. You can’t deny that the silhouette looks pretty similar, but it does have it’s few differences.
In order to bridge the gap between Kanye’s work with adidas and his work with Nike that remains very relevant today, sneaker customizer J31 decided to take the adidas Tubular X and recreate it by dressing it up in the three colorways of the Nike Air Yeezy 1. Up above you can see the “Zen”, “Blink” and “Zen Grey” colorways reinterpreted on the Tubular X. Which one are you feeling the most?

I’ve never really been a fan of any of Kanye’s shoes with adidas or Nike, but these customs are pretty on point. The colorways were recreated very nicely on the Tubular x.
