The adidas Ultra Boost is close to being a perfect running sneaker. If there was one thing that it could improve on it would probably have to be the durability of its outsole. If you wear it casually, you don’t really have to worry about this too much, but if you wear it for what they were made for, running, you may have noticed that after logging some good miles on the shoe, the rubber outsole begins to run out. adidas made the rubber outsole far too thin, thus causing it to wear out pretty fast. No need to worry though, because adidas appears to have fixed this issue and is set to utilize it on future release of the adidas Ultra Boost.
The adidas Ultra Boost you see above is an upcoming colorway, but what we’re focusing on today is the new and improved construction of the outsole. The outsole now comes with a Continental Tire rubber material on the outsole which will make the Ultra Boost significantly more durable when used strenuously. Keep an eye out on this update as it will probably be utilized in the very near future.

Author’s Take
I love that the Ultra Boost is going to be more durable. My only concern is whether the comfort of the shoe will take a hit since there is more materiel under the Boost. I guess we will have to wait and see.
