adidas is set to introduce a new color execution with innovative XENO light responsive technology. First up, the adidas Originals Superstar XENO Silver. The Superstar XENO Silver joins the re-stock of the originals black colorway and is set to release September 11th. Let’s take a closer look.
The XENO has a pretty dope effect once flash hits it. When you’re wearing it in natural light the silver upper has a dull and faint appearance with deep shimmers of iridescent colors, but once the flash of a camera hits it, that same material completely changes as the material explodes with an array of bright colors that covers the entire upper of the Superstar sans the shell toe. One thing worth mentioning is that the material does not just reflect one color, it varies depending on the angle that the light hits it. If the pictures above aren’t enough to give you a good idea of what the shoe will look like in flash, take a look at the video to see exactly what I’m talking about. The adidas Originals Superstar XENO Silver will be out September 11 for $110, let us know what you think.

Author’s Takes
I’m a fan of XENO. adidas has something pretty dope going on with it, and using it on a classic like the Superstar gives the vintage model a whole new look. It may not be for everybody, but for those who like it, cop a pair!
