The adidas Yeezy 350 Boost dominated the weekend (unfortunately) and pretty much everyone was trying to get their hands on a pair. Everyone was entering store raffles, Instagram raffles or even paying up to $500 OVER retail to get their . Really bruh???? Even Diddy showed out in his custom all red pair.
Well the skate team over at Jenkem decided to pick up a pair up for themselves simply because all of the hype and craze that was surrounding the shoe. What they decide to do with the Yeezys?
Completely trash the shoe by skating in it all around New York City of course!
The clip above shows the adventure that they (and the Yeezy 350 Boost) went on. The shoes were put through a hardcore skate session that involved water puddles, cigarette burns, being scraped against the floor and even being run over by a bus. As a person who doesn’t support Kanye’s sneakers, I love the idea and execution behind this video from Jenkem. To see someone completely trash a “hyped” sneaker by doing something that they love is completely awesome!
