LA-based brand, BAIT aligns with adidas for the very first time to create this special BAIT x adidas Originals EQT Running Support “The Big Apple.”
As its title suggests, the design introduces a unique color-blocking theme that pays homage to New York City. To reflect the diversity and individuality of NYC, all four sides of the silhouette include a distinctive shade, with Frost Mint and Viridian Green dominating the upper inspired by the Statue of Liberty, while Apple Red found on the heel tab, rear outsole, laces and insoles complement the stark Black and White contrasts throughout its vivid design.
Overall comprised of nubuck leather that alternates between smooth and perforated, the silhouette rests atop a White EVA midsole splattered with subtle Black and Red hits. Furthermore, “SUPERIOR” lacelocks are a nod to BAIT’s motto of providing “Superior Quality Goods” while each pair will be equipped with three lace options: Black, Apple Red, and Frost Mint.
Retailing for $160, the BAIT x adidas EQT Running Support “The Big Apple” launches on Saturday, January 31st in very limited quantities. Registration for a chance to purchase online is found here.
