In a time before half of you “sneakerheads” were even able to make sentences greatness happened, a pair of 2005 adidas Originals created a homage to the their founder and namesake; Adi Dassler, by placing Adi himself on the heel of the OG vintage Superstar.
As for these adidas Consortium 10th Anniversary sneakers, we see a complete flip to a premium black leather upper complemented by white leather on the heel tab and Three-Stripes. Adi’s face is featured, once again, on both sides of the shoe near the heel cap area, debossed in black and white. Finally, we see the sneaker sitting atop an off-white wash outsole and midsole combo. These sneakers get tied together by a pair of matte black laces with no alternatives in the box.
