NBA Kicks: Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”, Nike Air Penny 5 “Camo”, Reebok Shaqnosis “Escape from LA”

No-All-Star

The Toronto Raptors, aka the unofficial official Jordan Brand NBA team, have to be feeling a little bit threatened this season. After a season where they had as many as six players rocking retro Jordans, that number has come down this year while other players with an affinity for Js have started to come together and form their own “sneaker super teams”. Add to that the constant rumors of Rudy Gay and/or DeMar DeRozan possibly being traded and you have a Toronto Raptors Sneaker League that is not long for this world.

But while they’re here, let’s take the time to enjoy their greatness, which included Amir Johnson rocking the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine”, one of the most – if the not the most – demanded Air Jordans by sneakerheads to get a future release. Rudy Gay went for a hybrid look with the Hyperlight Max (still waiting for somebody to rock the “Hologram” colorway on the court), DeMar DeRozan kept it simple with the Air Flight One and Terrence Ross had on the hot retro of the moment, the Air Jordan 10 “Steel”.

As for the rest of the night in kicks, Thaddeus Young debuted the “camo” Nike Air Penny 5, Lavoy Allen didn’t seem to have a problem rocking a “Blackout” Nike LeBron 11, Gerald Green honored Shaq by rocking a new Shaqnosis colorway and much more.
