This December, adidas Originals brings us the latest colorway in the Mutombo 20th anniversary series. The upper features a mainly black nubuck upper with leather and canvas overlays throughout, along with the iconic Mutombo shield on the tongue. An African-inspired weave pattern is present on both the upper and undersole, as well as a black rubber midsole. Mutombo’s jersey number 55 from his 18 year career with the NBA is placed along the sides and the tongue. Launching December 14, 2013 , the Mutombo shoe will be available at select adidas Originals retail partners, adidas Originals retail stores and adidas.com/mutombo .
