adidas Unveils The New Arizona State Sun Devils’ Football Uniforms

Earlier today, Arizona State University and adidas unveiled the Sun Devils’ new Primeknit football uniforms for the 2015 season. The uniforms were developed in collaboration with Sun Devils Athletics. With design and innovation being the main objective, the uniform provide the players the perfect combination of style and technology for elite performance.

The uniforms are inspired by the team’s pitchfork logo, which can b seen on the helmet and pants. The shoulder pad design pays homage to the logo by incorporating a pitchfork spike theme into the stripes. An ‘Arizona State’ is highlighted in bold, metallic colors across the chest and accented with matching numbers and player names to create a signature look. One thing worth mentioning is that the metallic letters and numbers are created from a stretch material and serrated, allowing for maximum ventilation and flexibility.

The uniforms are made with a cutting-edge, proprietary yarn blend that increases durability and abrasion resistance, Primeknit is the premier compression uniform system, featuring the latest generation of adidas TECHFIT technology. The use of Primeknit helps keep the players cool which in retrun allows them to perform better. The jersey’s padlock system secures tension over the shoulder pads, while the bodymap fit adheres to the player, making it difficult for opponents to grab, hold or tackle.

If you want to see these uniforms in action, the first time you will be able to do so is when Arizona State will debuts them on Saturday, September 5^th as they take on Texas A&M at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
