Black Friday brought us a few different releases like the Air Jordan 8 Aqua that is still surprisingly sitting on shelves, the 2nd installment of the Pusha T x adidas collaboration and a handful of Nike Basketball colorways. One release that may have gone under the radar is the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 998 City Never Sleeps since it only released online and in-store at KITH. If you missed out and still want a pair don’t resort to playing retail because they’ll be getting a global release this weekend.
This 998 features Fieg’s trademark tri-blocking with blue nubuck on the toe, midnight navy nubuck on the saddle and a black pigskin suede on the heel counter. The N logos are done in white as well as the midsole and outsole. Finishing off the look is a premium leather lining, custom insoles, debossed tongue and heel branding and three different pairs of laces.
Look for the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 998 City Never Sleeps to release at select global retailers on December 12th.

Author’s Take
Ronnie Fieg and New Balance killed it last year with their “Central Park” and “Brooklyn Bridge” collaborations that released on Black Friday and this year they’ve done it again. I love the color blocking and materials on this shoe, it all combines so effortlessly for a clean look that you can wear any given day.
