The latest offering coming out of adidas Skateboarding goes by the name of the adidas Matchcourt. Said to be drawing inspiration from the classic adidas Nizza, the Matchcourt manages to get its own look by also utilizing the court shoe look.
One of the first things that you notice on the adidas Matchcourt is its abnormal toe design that happens to creep up on to the toebox of the shoe. The upper appears to be made out of a suede, while the tongue comes in mesh and tonal Three Stripe branding comes in leather. Coming in an all-black upper, the Matchcourt is offset by the white places on the heel and tongue branding and most noticeably the white vulcanized midsole and gum bottom outsole. Not very big on skateboarding shoes, so even though some people may really be feeling this release due to the connection it has to the adidas Nizza, it really doesn’t do anything for me. Easy pass on my end.
