Instagram is currently one of the biggest social networks in the world. It gives normal people like you and I a chance to share pictures and videos with the entire world. The sneaker community is a big chunk of people who take advantage of this platform. You know damn well every weekend that happens to have a big sneaker release, your Instagram feed will be flooded with pictures of that said release. Nike, adidas, Asics, New Balance, Saucony, Reebok, Puma, Vans, Air Jordans, you can find anything and everything on Instagram. What brand garnered the most attention and likes though? Would you be surprised if I told you it wasn’t Nike?
Turns out none other than adidas was the sneaker brand who was able to get the most likes in 2015. KickPosters did a bit of research and they came to the conclusion that adidas ruled IG likes, and it wasn’t even close. Although that doesn’t mean that they sold more than Nike, it does mean that they’re getting more than their fair share of “cool points”. adidas was able to secure 78.8 million likes in 2015, while Vans came in 2nd with almost half of that. Nike ranked 3rd with 30 million. Surprised? I am. Who or what do you think enabled adidas to get the top spot? Sound off in the comments below.
