The upcoming Hypebeast x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged is now officially revealed, as the special silhouette essentially celebrates the lifestyle publication’s tenth anniversary.
By listening to their fans worldwide, the shoe is a representation of what was wanted. The sneaker’s distinctive caging has been removed, hence its official moniker, while a continental outsole as well as the application of an NFC chip — the first in its kind for a footwear product. Quite simply, this component is a method of wireless data transfer that detects and then enables technology in close proximity to communicate without the need for an internet connection. Additionally, if you own an NFC scanning mobile device, users can enjoy a diverse range of exclusive content by simply scanning the QR code on the hangtag.

I actually liked how the silhouette looked in the first place, but this offering just made it much more minimal. I’m all for the classic tones and the addition of that NFC chip seems pretty cool. This should get the attention it deserves none the less.
