When adidas' Micropacer first debuted in 1984, the running silhouette turned heads with its futuristic design and revolutionary technology. Most noteworthy was the one-of-a-kind, built-in sensor in the toe that clocked speed, distance and calorie burn -- a progressive design feature that makes a comeback with the Three Stripes' re-release of the iconic sneaker. Combining the look of the archival classic with outdoor-inspired tech details, the 2015 Micropacer OG features an upper constructed from a circular knit, abrasion-resistant overlays and an injected EVA midsole for lightweight comfort. Adding a retro-futuristic touch, meanwhile, is the original microcomputer LED screen, which is showcased via a see-through window on the front placket.
