This past Summer we saw the introduction of the Tubular X silhouette from adidas Originals. It immediately caught everyone’s attention because of its similarity to the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 but without the steep price tag. There were lots of other differences, but the difference in price is what stood out the most.
A few months have passed since its debut and it seems like many people have all but forgotten about the Tubular X because they have turned their attention to the next Yeezy that will be releasing or the next colorway of the Ultra Boost. Attempting to direct some attention back to the high-top lifestyle silhouette is this new hemp colorway that may or may not remind you of the grey/tan colorway of the Yeezy Boost 750 that released back in February. The entire shoe is covered in the aforementioned color with suede detailing on the heel and toe, and a neoprene inner bootie. Another cool detail is the reflective outer panel that shines with the help of some flash.

Author’s Take
I tried liking the Tubular X but it just looks too bulky and big for my liking. Maybe if I were to come across a pair for a really good price I’d consider buying it, but even then I would have to think twice about it.
