Been Trill x adidas Samba – The Sneaker That Never Was

Urban clothing brand Been Trill reportedly had a collaboration with adidas Originals, but unfortunately for many people, the project kind of fell apart and it never reached its completion.

The silhouette that was used for the collaboration was the adidas Samba, and it featured a crazy full 3M silver upper. Been Trill branding was added on the tongue, heel tab, and the Samba branding on the side panels was written in the traditional Been Trill style. The midsole is grey and translucent and matches up nicely. So why did this shoe never hit retailers? Reportedly, there was a hiccup in the production process that stopped the shoe from releasing, but somehow a few pairs made it to outlets.

If this sneaker would have released, how much would you have been willing to pay for it?

Author’s Take

I’m not a fan of Been Trill or the adidas Samba, but I imagine that for fans of those two brands/silhouettes, this would be a grail simply because of how rare it is.
